Birds, a play written by Ibrahim Khalaileh which deals with the Palestinian desire to break free from the Israeli occupation. It emanated from the experience of living under occupation and raises many questions: What is a life and death? What is an aggressor and a victim? And does the victim have even the slightest role in the crime done against it?
It sheds a light on a reality at a time which the hope for freedom and a better future prevailed and deals with clinging to freedom and breaking the cage no matter how beautiful that cage may be.
