He picks a various number of people and with different type of personalities, starting with a Russian immigrant woman, going to the weed smuggler, to picking up a racist orthodox Jew who hates Arabs and then a battered Arab woman that fled from her violent husband and heads to the battered women shelter for protection, but it does not protect her from assault, in addition to his daily worries such as the chasing of the traffic police and his wife’s needs.
